Freezing feet on a Scottish island!

I’m a 32-year-old half-Sri-Lankan, half-Irish, Hong Kong-born, multi-national teacher of English as a second language. People often ask me where I’m from and I find it hard to answer. I was born in HK, but I haven’t lived there since I was 9. I live in Australia, but I’ve only been here for a few years. When I go back to England, they think I’m Australian. I guess this is a dilemma that more and more people are facing now that the world’s becoming so small; I don’t think it’s altogether a bad thing.

I finally decided to write a blog because I do a lot of travelling (or at least, I try to!) and I like to share my stories with my family and friends. If anyone else is interested along the way, well, that’s pretty sweet too. This will save me from emailing hundreds of people every few days while I’m travelling, and it’ll save people from getting unwanted junk mail! As a starter, I decided to upload some of my old travel emails; things that people maybe read years ago but haven’t seen in a while. My plan is to keep uploading those until I’m on the move again, and then I’ll try to keep it up on a more regular, personal basis. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy what you see.
